Spring Bay Community Food Hub

The Spring Bay Community Food Hub is a not-for-profit, volunteer-run association supporting our community with access to affordable food. Hampers cost $25 and contain around $70 worth of groceries; bread, vegetables and fruit are added at no extra cost when available.

Bicheno Mental Health Services Directory

Bicheno’s community-led directory of mental health and wellbeing services is reviewed each year by local providers. It lists who to contact for counselling, support groups, GP-managed mental health plans and youth services across our region.

Aged care and home support

If you or a family member needs help to keep living independently, My Aged Care is the Tasmanian Government starting point. Their assessors can arrange Home Care Packages, the Commonwealth Home Support Programme and short-term restorative care.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding for eligible Australians under 65 with a permanent and significant disability. Local Area Coordinators help with planning and finding registered providers.

Community connection
