Welcome to the Glamorgan Spring Bay Council website.
Our corner of Tasmania’s east coast is one of the most beautiful places in the country. From the granite peaks of Freycinet to the quiet inlets of Little Swanport, our towns of Bicheno, Coles Bay, Swansea, Triabunna and Orford each have their own character — shaped by fishing, farming, forestry, tourism, and the people who have chosen to make this coast their home.
The job of your council is to keep this community working well today and planning well for tomorrow. That means roads and rubbish, yes, but also major projects like the Triabunna Wharf and Marina Precinct and the Triabunna Tomorrow streetscape — projects that position us as the gateway to Maria Island and set up the economic future of this region.
