The Tasmanian Planning Scheme
The Tasmanian Planning Scheme is a single set of planning rules applied consistently across Tasmania. It combines the State Planning Provisions (SPPs) with each council’s Local Provisions Schedule (LPS) — the zoning maps, overlays and locally-specific rules that apply here. The Glamorgan Spring Bay LPS, combined with the SPPs, came into effect on 30 March 2022. It replaced the Glamorgan Spring Bay Interim Planning Scheme 2015.
