Council supports community groups through our Community Small Grants Program. Grants are available year-round for community-run projects, events and initiatives that benefit residents and visitors to the Glamorgan Spring Bay municipality.

What we fund

  • Community events open to the public
  • Equipment, materials or small improvements for community groups, clubs and volunteer organisations
  • Programs that build community capacity, connection or wellbeing
  • Activities that promote the municipality as a great place to live, work and visit

Grant amount

Grants are usually up to $1,000. In exceptional cases council may approve grants up to $1,500 at its discretion.

Eligibility

  • You must be an incorporated not-for-profit, a community group auspiced by one, or another organisation approved by council
  • Your project must benefit residents, visitors or community groups in the Glamorgan Spring Bay municipality
  • You must be able to acquit your grant (receipts and a short report) within a reasonable time after the project

How to apply

Applications are open year-round. Submit the Community Small Grants Application Form with your quotes, project plan and budget. Applications are considered monthly.
